Frank Mueller and Linda Hastman
Frank has been a long time Yukon resident. Originally from Germany, Frank has over 20 years of experience as a fishing and wilderness guide. He's the general manager of two Yukon businesses: Ruby Range Wilderness and Fishing Lodge and Ridge Lake Trapline, a remote fly-in camp on the Coal River. Frank also manages a third business: Dunedin River Outfitters, in northern British Columbia. Him and his companion Linda Hastman have extensive experience in wilderness tourism. Linda loves gardening, photography, and learning more about the flora and fauna specific to the Kluane Lake region.
Frank and Linda always take great pride and satisfaction in offering their guests amazing and unforgettable experiences in deep rhythm with nature in "Yukon Beyond the Road".
Ruby Range and Ridge Lake are members of the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon, the Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon, the Yukon Fish and Game Association and the Yukon Trappers Association.
In 2007, Frank's life at the lodge in the summer and on his trapline in the winter was the subject of an hour-long documentary film that has been shown on Canadian television. To read more about Frank and the film, see Follow Your Dreams - in the Yukon Wilderness.
Serge Lamarche
For more than twenty years, Serge has enthusiastically explored Northern Canada with a fishing rod in one hand and a tackle box in the other. In addition to being a fisherman, Serge is a licensed trapper who enjoys spending time on the land at every opportunity. Serge's belief that one must give back to nature has led him to hold executive positions in the Yukon Fish & Game Association and Yukon Trappers Association. He continues to demonstrate his commitment to the cause by holding a seat on the Outfitter and Trapper Compensation Review Committee and Inuvialuit Arbitration Board.
Gilbert Lamarche
Longtime Yukonner, Gilbert loves fishing. He has spent a lifetime fishing several pristine rivers and lakes all over Canada and Alaska. As a fisherman, he has many years guiding experience under his belt. He strongly believes that solitude and fishing are the 2 best cures to provide any human being with much needed relaxation and peace of mind. Gilbert enjoys exchanging tips and secrets with people or simply searching for that productive fishing hole. It always makes his day when he can put a fabulous smile on a newcomer's face who catches his first decent fish.
