Frank MuellerFrank Mueller

Frank has been a long time Yukon resident. Originally from Germany, Frank has over 25 years of experience as a fishing and wilderness guide. He's the general manager of two Yukon businesses: Ruby Range Wilderness and Fishing Lodge and Ridge Lake Trapline, a remote fly-in camp on the Coal River. Frank also manages a third business: Dunedin River Outfitters, in northern British Columbia. Frank has extensive experience in wilderness tourism.

Frank has always taken great pride and satisfaction in offering guests amazing and unforgettable experiences in deep rhythm with nature in a part of Yukon beyond the road.

Ruby Range and Ridge Lake are members of the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon, the Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon, the Yukon Fish and Game Association and the Yukon Trappers Association.

In 2007, Frank's life at the lodge in the summer and on his trapline in the winter was the subject of an hour-long documentary film that has been shown on Canadian television. To read more about Frank and the film, see Follow Your Dreams - in the Yukon Wilderness.

In 2010, Frank took part in another documentary "Wenn die Wildnis ruft". The film was aired in Germany over the Christmas Holidays.

For more than 20 years, Serge has enthusiastically explored Northern Canada with a fishing rod in one hand and a tackle box in the other. In addition to being a fisherman, Serge is a licensed trapper who enjoys spending time on the land at every opportunity. Serge's belief that one must give back to nature has led him to hold executive positions in the Yukon Fish & Game Association and Yukon Trappers Association. He continues to demonstrate his commitment to the cause by holding a seat on the Outfitter and Trapper Compensation Review Committee and Inuvialuit Arbitration Board.


Gilbert Lamarche

 

Gilbert Lamarche

Longtime Yukoner, Gilbert loves fishing. He has spent a lifetime fishing several pristine rivers and lakes all over Canada and Alaska. As a fisherman, he has many years guiding experience under his belt. He strongly believes that solitude, hunting and fishing are the three best cures for much needed rest and peace of mind. Gilbert enjoys exchanging tips and secrets with people or simply searching for that productive fishing hole. It always makes his day when he sees a guest get excited while fighting a decent size fish.


Marcel Lamarche

Marcel Lamarche

Marcel, better known to his friends as Mars, is a former railroader turned successful family business operator. With more than 20 years experience, Mars is no stranger to delivering quality service and customer satisfaction. He tremendously cherishes precious moments Yukon and British Columbia great outdoors have to offer. Fishing is quickly becoming his second mission in life. When the fish are not biting, Marcel likes to fix things in camp or entertain people with his wicked sense of humor.



Denis Lamarche

Denis is a semi-retired businessman who by choice has made Ruby Range Wilderness and Fishing Lodge (Yukon) and Dunedin River Outfitters (British Columbia) his two favorite places away from home. Since his youth, Denis has been an outdoor enthusiast who has always cultivated a great passion for fishing. In his spare time, he likes to visit both lodges so he can relax and blend in with nature.
